Bayside Cup rules and regulations
Entry Fee
- Entry Fee for the Year is $100, 75% will be paid out 25% will go towards admin and software.

Handicaps
- You start the Bayside Cup with your low index for the year.
- Each week your Bayside Cup round will update your Bayside Cup Index.
- The low of your Golf Canada and Bayside Cup index will be used.
- The Bayside committee has put in multiple checks to catch sandbaggers. Sandbagging will not be tolerated an automatic penalty of 3 strokes will be assessed to any sandbaggers. Multiple offenses will result in being banned from future events.
- A maximum Handicap of 14 will be used.
Stableford Scoring
- Each week we will follow standard Stableford scoring
- 4 points net eagle
- 3 points net birdie
- 2 points net par
- 1 point net bogey
- 0 points net double bogey pick up and move on
Playing Rules
- 1. The Bayside Cup will adhere to USGA Rules.
- 2. If you are uncertain about the rules, please consult your playing partners.
- 3. If you are still unsure, you may play two balls and we will confirm the rule after the round.
- 4. Gimmies inside the black tape on all flags are permitted.
- 5. Your first rules infraction will result in automatic disqualification for the week and a 25% deduction in your handicap.
- 6. Any subsequent rules infraction will lead to a permanent ban from all Bayside Cup-related tournaments, including the World Cup.
- 7. Breaking the rules of golf and sandbagging are considered cheating. Cheaters are not welcome.
- Please confirm scores with your playing partner before ending the round.

Weekly Games
- $20 mandatory fee per week.
- We will have two brownie tournaments during the year. The entry fee for the Brownie will be $100.
- Brownies will also be worth double ranking points.
- The Brownie is not Mandatory we will also be having our regular $20 game.

Majors
- We will have two majors on June 22nd and Aug 3 (Combined with club champs).
- Majors are worth double-ranking points
Playoffs
- There will be 3 rounds of playoffs starting Sept 2nd
- Round 1 will be held Sept 2nd and Sept 7th. Must play 1 best round will count.
- Round 1 will be held Sept 14th and Sept 21st. Must play 1 best round will count.
- Tour Championship Sept 28th at Mickelson National.
- The top 32 and ties make round 1
- Top 24and ties make round 2
- Top 16 Make round the tour championship at Mickelson
- The first two rounds of the playoffs will be held over two weeks your best net score will count if you play both weeks
- If you don't make the playoffs you are welcome to join for the weekly game and have some laughs.
- At the end of the regular season the following Stableford points will be awarded entering the playoffs.

Scheduling
- We will be using the website to register. Instructions under the How to section
- Please enter your availability at least 14 days prior.
- If you have not entered in your availability you will not have a tee time.
Teebox
- We will be playing the gold/black combo. If you don't like it complain to somebody who cares.
